Shoot ‘Em Up

Shoot ‘Em UpOooh, long time no blog.  Whoops.

Anyway, I watched Shoot ‘Em Up earlier this week.  Whilst we were hanging around after the film had finished, another film-goer walked by and commented: “that was fookin’ terrible”.

That’s right, they called it “Fookin’ terrible”.

Well that pretty much sums it up for me too – which leaves me with a bit of a problem.  You see, calling something “Fookin’ terrible” isn’t going to be considered an in-depth review by anyone.

So with my opinion tainted, what I need is an unbiased, honest review of Shoot ‘Em Up.  In fact, we need a machine to deliver the facts, and not let emotions get in the way of in-depth movie reviewing.

So without further ado, please step forward “Bertha”…

Ah, well that was worth it then.

  1. V Funny….but it wasn’t that bad, was it?? Surely the gratious boob shoots had something going for it!!
Excellent animation by the way & soooo good to hear the Bertha theme tune again….Can we have TOM next time too??

  2. Thanks dude! Well true, it wasn’t as bad as Spider Man 3. But it was certainly one of the most brainless films ever!

Tom was the little robot, right? I forgot all about him. Oooh, what a missed opportunity! Doh!

  3. Ha ha, classic review and such great animation too. It was indeed a terrible film but it raised a smile so I can’t say it was all bad. I have to admit I was expecting it to be a bit less brain dead and cheesy and was amazed at the cast such a poor script managed to attract.

Nice picture of monica by the way, pity she can’t act for toffee.

  4. hahaha! You’ll do!! Very funny. I am funnier though.

  7. Obviously I’ll have to disagree with you there! I thought it was appalling.

  8. You guys are stupid and obviously wouldn’t know a good movie if it hit you in the balls. I dont think they were trying to be that serious and you act like they were. AWESOME movie!!!

  9. […] can quite confidently say that GI Joe is the worst film I’ve seen in a long, long time, with perhaps only one redeeming feature: no CGI […]
