Yet More Blog Tweakage

I installed Wordpress about 18 months ago. I always meant to install a slightly nicer theme than the default “out-of-the-box” one, but I always seemed to find something more fun to do (like trim my toes nails and clean out my belly button fluff).
But I’ve finally taken the plunge and changed it to a much tweaked one based on “Clean Blue”. It uses a lot more of the screen width, so it’s a bit more spacious. What do you think? Is it too blue? I can’t help but think it needs a picture of some sort in the header at the top?
On an unexciting related note, I’ve also upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress and all it’s plugins. What a faff that was… when are we going to get a button that does it all automagically?

I like it, its very clear and easy to read and looks very professional. Is it too blue? I don’t think so but now that you have mentioned it I can see why you might have been concerned. As for a picture at the top I have to say I did like your waving wheat and storm pictures. Maybe some small image on the right of the title bar or a logo or something.
Have to say I agree with the whole wordpress upgrade thing, way too faffy and I always feel like I am going to loose everything when I do it. We demand automagicalacation!

Ok, I’ll have a thinksy about an image then. I quite like the cleaner look, so it’d have to be something quite unobtrusive.
Looks like Wordpress 2.3 will be out soon, so that’ll be another upgrade! Think I’ll stick with the 2.2 branch for a while if I can…
