Rocky Balboa was Monday’s film. I must admit it was better than I expected, despite being a bit slow. No boxing for oooh, the first 75 minutes? So there was plenty of time to try and work out what cosmetic surgery old Sly has had done.

I reckon he’s had some kind of Roger Moore eyebrow implant, perhaps a bit of Botox and a hair transplant / toupee installation. Oddly, he’s kept his saggy granny-boobs (see above), so it seems he couldn’t quite afford the pecplants.

So was it any good? Yeah, it was ok. There was a bit of an odd relationship develop in the film with some woman that Rocko met many years ago which didn’t sit quite right with me, but otherwise I was pleasantly surprised. 7/10.
