Grrr, Snarl, Growl

Sometimes I think I can’t say what I really feel on this blog, which is a shame. I never know who might be reading or who might read something I’ve written in the future. That could just be plain awkward.
Unfortunately, today is one of those days. Someone has reet pee’d me off. I can’t say who, for the above reason. I can’t really say why as it’d give the person away.
So instead, I’ve put all my Flash stick man skills to the test and come up with a taste of what I would like to do to the aforementioned person.
Ok, it’s crap, but it made me feel better.

Ha ha, I love it. That cheered me up no end as I have felt like doing that to a number of people today myself. I know just how you feel, you want to get it all off your chest and your blog is a great place to do it, but then what happens if the person in question actually reads it? Luckily I tend to get angry about things like Pluto not being a planet and the like and so don’t have specific people to yell at. That said I may have to dust off good old flash myself if things continue as they are.
Cheer up mate, if you want to email me and moan about it then feel free. Hopefully things will get better this afternoon.

Yeah, I’ll have to fill you in on all the gory details when I get a chance. I’ve calmed down a little now fortunately, but I would still like to repeatedly insert sharp pointy objects into this person.
On two completely unrelated notes, does this make any sense to you? And, I take it you got your Wordpress sorted ok?

Glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better, tell me all about it on monday. I have to say that your little animation got me all inspired and I spent last night drawing pictures in flash for the first time in ages. Now I am trying to animate them and thats usually where things fall down for me. I mean yours is very simple but the animation is very smooth, mine usually looks good but animates really badly. How do you do it, did you make things like the leg seperate objects and use motion tweens or did you do something clever with shape tweens and code that I don’t understand???
Ok on a slightly less geeky note, nah that made no sense to me either. I got all excited when I started reading it as obviously I could see where you were going with it. But then it was like they started writing in another language or something as none of the words made sense anymore. If you can find a translation then I am all onboard with any project you have in mind.
Wordpress wise, yeah it worked first time when I got home. I think it was my work internet access after all. I still have problems with it at work but it is fine on any other pc. Weird.
Anyway take care and speak soon. Try to resist the urge to kill anyone…oooh just had a thought, why not get one of these, or just try this one.

I’m rubbish at animation too. I did start off tweening movie clips and the like, but I quickly got annoyed with it as it kept going wrong. So I ended up cheating by ditching the movie clips totally and just added new keyframes in and then changing the position slightly on each one. I’m sure it’s bad bad bad, particularly to do anything larger. Drawing/animation never was my strong point as you know.
Don’t really have any project in mind, just stumbled across it whilst I was trying to figure out how to animate stick people! I don’t understand much of it either, although the multiple fla’s part kinda makes sense.
Glad the Wordpress thing worked out ok. Maybe it is a browser thing then after all. Very odd.

Well I’ve just finished mine and I am very pleased with how it came out. Yeah ok so I probably spent about a hundred times longer on it that you did and so missed the whole scribble aspect of the comedy but I think it rocks. Thanks for all the help with posting flash files in PHP, really helped. Check it out.

No probs. It does indeed rock, it’s really funny! Can we expect a new inspired wave of Flash posts from you now?
What version of Flash did you use by the way?

Maybe, maybe. I did rather enjoy doing it again. I’m using version 5 still, haven’t got around to intalling the latest one yet…plus it always takes me ages to work out the differences when I upgrade!!!
