Die Hard 4.0
Is it just my imagination or is Bruce Willis starting to look more and more like a tortoise these days?
Anyhoo, I saw Die Hard 4.0 the other day and I’ll have to say - I rather enjoyed it. It was easily the best action film I’ve seen for a long while.
It did make me wonder though how they teach students on computer science courses in California. I mean, Hollywood computer geeks just seem to be in a totally different class to the rest us. I can only imagine that their weekly lesson plan goes a little like this:
Monday: Winzip for Beginners.
Tuesday: PC maintenance - mouse ball cleaning.
Wednesday: P.E.
Thursday: Introduction to F-35 missile firing codes.
Friday: Using DOS to shut down a national power station.
All I learnt at college was how to make a birthday reminder program using COBOL and how to market a new perfume called “Lleb D’n?”. Tcha. I mean, how is that going to help me in my evil World domination master plan?
