Random as ever Tiamat! ;-) Never seen Huff, Dead Like Me or Firefly. I heard something about Futurama coming back... Isn't it going to be a straight-to-dvd thing though?

Andrew, yeah the overhead tracking bit was cool. Reminded me a bit of the Dawn of the Dead remake a few years back. Actually, didn't that have a little (zombified) girl in it too? Hmmm...

I enjoyed the film though think it could have been a lot better if, as Andy pointed out, the vampires hadn't sounded like dolphins on crack. Sound it just as important as visuals and while the vampires looked pretty darn scary when they were ripping the town to bits but were just cringe worthy when ever they spoke.

Personally I thought the best vampire in the whole thing was the little girl. Having her speak english eliminated the silly sound aspect and having her be so young yet so dangerous made her much more scary.

If you could redo it I would have the vampires speak either english or at least a real language and make them sound more like lions or wild dogs than dolphins.

Had so great exploding head shots though which always make me laugh and the tracking shot over the town at the vampires killed everyone was rather cool.
