I was going to write a bit about my recent holiday to sunny Spain. But… someone can’t find the cable to get any photos off their digital camera (hmmph), so it’ll have to wait for a bit.
Instead… I saw the film Zodiac yesterday, was it any good?
Well, yes and no. Let’s look at the evidence…

I really can’t describe just how *bad* Spider-Man 3 is. Seriously, it’s pretty dire.
So I won’t even try and put into words just how poor it is. Instead, crank up the sound, as… “We’re gonna need a montage! Montage… oooh, it takes a montage…”

Cris Johnson (Nicolas Cage) has visions that enable him to see two minutes into the future. He’s managed to keep his special power pretty hush hush all these years and happily plods through life cheating in casinos to make ends meet.
Just two minutes into the future? Pah. That’s rubbish. If you read on and haven’t seen this film already, you’ll be able to see 100 minutes into the future…
Hold on, it’s happening. I feel a vision coming…
I see… you standing in the queue to buy a ticket for a film called Next. I see… a crap plot. I see… “only in the movies” moments. I see… bad CGI effects. I see… a really dire ending.
There we go, 100 minutes. Hold on, the vision is changing. Now I see… you watching something else.
4/10.
(it would’ve been 3 out of ten, but I’d like to give Jessica Biel one too)

I saw Fracture the other week, but for the life of me I can’t think of anything remotely interesting to say about it. It’s not a bad film, it’s just well, quite forgettable.
I do remember that it’s got Anthony Hopkins and a guy called Cliff Curtis (who looks distractingly like Sylvester Stallone) in it. And, the big ‘twist’ was painfully obvious quite early on (even to a dimwit like me).
Thinking about it, I have difficulty remembering any films that have any type of courtroom scene in…? Hmmm curious.
Something/10.
I spent yesterday at Internet World ‘07 at Earls Court for work.
It was much better than the British Toy Fair I went to the other month. Perhaps it was because I snagged some free stuff this time?
